Philips HearLink, owned by the Danish global hearing aid provider Demant A/S, introduced its 9050 generation in 2023. Key features include rechargeable technology, Bluetooth connectivity, and Auracast readiness.
When your HearLinks are well inserted, you will get the best performance from them. Proper insertion can help avoid feedback (a squealing or whistling sound that others may hear). Good retention will give you the confidence to wear them throughout the day in different situations.
You can think of your hearing aids the same way you think about wearing your shoes every day—you should feel confident, comfortable, and even stylish!
The HearLink 9050 hearing aids provide more than 24 hours of use on a full charge.
Charging is simple—just place the hearing aids in the charger whenever they’re not in your ears. If you follow your hearing care provider’s recommendation to wear them throughout the day, keeping them in the charger when not in use will ensure they’re always ready.
Please note that this video shows the previous HearLink model, the 9040. The charging process is the same for the newer 9050. However, the 9050 charger is smaller and more portable.
Most clinicians recommend replacing the wax guard once a month. If you have more earwax, you may consider changing it more frequently, such as every two weeks.
If your hearing aids sound muffled or are not working properly, the first step is to replace the wax guards and perform a listening check.
